Brick Wall and Furman professional surge protectors/line filters

Hi guys (and gals),

I'm new to the forum and have checked out this thread, might I suggest another alternative. I have a home recording studio, and I know of a few other studio owners that use Brick Wall filters:

http://brickwall.com

I personaly use Furmans in the studio:

http://www.furmansound.com

You might to check these two alternatives out... But mind you, we are talking serious filtering here, not just power-bar type MOVs.

Thanks for pointing out these two lines of products. What kind of MSRP range are we talking on these options for a typical HT setup?

Just so you know, Panamax owns Furman. Panamax has a whole line of power conditioners as well.

The MSRP is probably around the 150-500$CDN. Also the MSRP really depends on the connected load.
When I got my Furman I just added all the wattages for each piece of gear, divide by the voltage (120) to get the connected amps. I sized for this load +25%.
I ended up paying 150$ for a 15Amp 19in rack mounted unit with the voltage monitor and pullout lights...that was about 5 years ago.
