Smile Denon AVRS750H and Dolby Atmos

Hi all

I am back to these forums after long time. I was looking at Denon 7.2 receivers including AVRS750H that none of them has any speaker connections at the back for Dobly Atmos speakers. Are they using some sort of virtual affect for Dolby Atmos in these speakers.

If I look at some 9.2 Denon receiver then I see speaker connections at the rear of the receiver.
I will appreciate your feedback.

From the Denon website it says:
Quote:
Immerse yourself in multi-dimensional audio with Dolby Atmos. Set up Dolby Atmos with a 5.1.2 surround sound speaker system using Dolby Atmos elevation speakers or dedicated overhead speakers, for the ultimate home theater experience. Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization provides immersive audio without height channels, creating virtual height effects in a 5.2, 7.2 or 2.2 speaker arrangement.

However, from the manual it looks like the Surround Back Speaker connections can be utilized for the height speakers (if you have them). See link below and scroll down to the appropriate diagram.

Speaker connections need to be appropriately assigned:
