Running A/C With all the windows open
So I got my new Central A/C a year ago, one thing I was told when I had it installed is to make sure all the windows and doors are closed when its running, because the house air is a closed system compared to the air outside the house. I have been following this law religiously, but I have noticed, my next door neighbor also has a fairly new Central Air Conditioner, but his is constantly running 24/7 all the time. He runs his even with all the windows in his house wide open. Umm I was taught this was bad, but why do some people do it? is it really necessary to close all windows when running the A/C? If so maybe my neighbor did not get the same info I got?
