Sprinkler Head Cover

In my new condo, one of the fire sprinkler heads does not have a decorative cover. The photo here shows another sprinkler head that does have a cover, and a fairly accurate set of measurements for it.

Can anyone direct me to a place where I can purchase a cover? I believe they are called "escutcheons" in the trade.

Any hints as to safely installing it would also be gratefully accepted.

Have you asked the superintendent or property manager of your condo? They might be able to either give you one or put you in touch with whoever installed the sprinklers.

Hi Tritboss:

That's a good suggestion, and I'll bring it up the next time an opportunity arises.

Many Thanks To all

I took the advice of a contractor doing other work in the building -- the condo mgrs were not aware of any source. The contractor recommended Emco here in Vancouver. Sure enough, they carry a broad line of plumbing and, specifically to my needs, sprinkler parts. This includes old parts from obsolete product lines and no longer used suppliers.
