Text to Landline
So my wife and I recently switched carriers and moved to Bell Mobility. Back on our old carriers I had blocked text to landline by writing to TeleMessage and requesting to opt out since the carrier has no way of doing it you gotta contact the third party them self, which is well documented online, in fact I was the one who discovered this and spread the info. Now I totally forgot that switching carriers you have to do this again so my wife accidentally sent some text messages over the weekend to my office landline phone which is why I did not get her text messages, and I can see the text being sent on the online portal but can not confirm if they are chargeable messages on Mobility. I knew on Fido and rogers they charged you a quarter per text to landline, so I am only under the assumption its the same for mobility. its an annoying feature so I contacted TeleMessage once again via email and requested to be opt out of this annoying feature, I am hoping they will do this as there is NO information online for how to opt out of this for Bell mobility but im guessing since they handle 3 of the other carriers in Canada they likely handle bells too.
