Moving Telus email address to another account

Before I switch from Shaw to Telus a few years ago, I moved and parked my Shaw email address at my friend's Shaw account.
My cousin wants to cancel his Telus account, is Telus let he moves his Telus email address to my Telus account?

Why don't use Yahoo mail, gmail or hotmail? You will never have to switch again. I have yahoo mail and gmail, and can view both accounts either from yahoo app or gmail app.

I think the point is that the OP's cousin does not want to lose his current Telus email account.

Using a portable email address is a good idea since it avoids this type of situation but it's not relevant to the question asked.
