I received an obvious phishing email today which was titled "Upgrade your Telus Webmail"
If I did not click the link in the email and log into my account within 48 hours I would lose all email access on my account. Now I realize these types of scams are prevalent but I do not understand how Telus's own spam filter would not capture such an obvious scam. Hey Telus ...you need to do a better job than that!
There was another one, claiming that my payment was rejected, etc. It came from Russia. I wanted to contact security so they can issue a warning, but no such info is available to mere mortals. Forwaded the mail to [email protected], but never heard about it again.
