My memory is getting kind of murky on classic, but press menu on the front of the box. Then go into TV setup, then try TV 1. See if your aspect ratio is set to 4:3 still or 16:9. How do you have it connected? Also, on your factory tv remote check the aspect/zoom setting. You may have just clipped the screen off with too much zoom.
@macman, even if the displays were being clipped off the numbers should show up in the call log and they don't.
It just says no calls but the numbers and msg waiting lites are showing up on my landline sets so we know they are working on my line.
MTS test desk tech just called and after confirming my settings are correct, thinks that the box is borked.
The tech said that they are like a telephone and the box should display the calls and put the number in the log. We agreed to close the ticket and see if the problem follows when the Ultimate box gets installed. I'll have to call Monday to set up an appointment for the upgrade.
Even with Ultimate the on-tv call display is not perfect. I would say approximately 10% of the calls get missed on the tv. It isn't that big a deal for me but occurs frequently enough that it happens at least once every couple of weeks (no display).
Hey, I forget if you said so somewhere else, but did it start working again once you upgraded? I wonder if they've discontinued tv call display on classic or something. It's going to be a mad rush to get people migrated now with the CRTC ruling.
