This list is not necessarily complete however it is a starting point and I will try to keep the first post up to date with feedback/corrections/additions being welcomed.

I hope by putting this information out there in a more visible way it will put some pressure on MTS to get busy adding the missing HD channels.

Is there an opposite list? Any channels available on MTS that aren't available on Shaw?

bigoranget has compiled the missing HD channels for all providers:

http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/show....php?p=1690113.

According to that database, Shaw Cable is missing 70 English HD channels and MTS is missing 56, although I think some of the channels listed aren't carried by any Canadian providers.

There is an issue with that link source in that it is not necessarily update to date. I think the larger issue is that MTS is missing some high profile channels and is really slow to add anything new, for example the missing SuperChannel feeds. Also when H2, DTour and Lifetime did their rebrands MTS offered the SD feed but did not add the new HD one. Also that Cartoon Network has been on free preview for close to a year is also interesting.

The MTS link should be up to date. If I've missed something, please let me know. NOTE: The link is just for specialty channels (English and French). It does not account for locals or distant locals.

Since switching over to MTS TV (from Bell satelite), the slow pace at which MTS adds new channels has been a negative. I hope more are added soon.

Fixed the list, there are still lots of "must carry" channels where the available HD feed is not going to be carried by MTS as the HD versions are not currently "must carry".
