if MTS is trying to improve their coverage hopefully they will be doing further enhancements at Investors Group Field and MTS Centre as those areas become practically unusable when they have crowd, and no the WiFi at MTS Centre is not a solution.

For the few times a year IGF is used it may not pay MTS to upgrade, but on the other hand being the named sponsor of the MTS Center and all the use it gets they definitely should upgrade

Coverage around the campus area has been suffering for years.

Both Rogers and MTS do report a new site at IGF though (

Performance around the stadium during events doesn't seem to change, so I'm guessing they've captured the event crowds to only that site to allow the others to continue serving the area.

I had fantastic coverage at the Bomber game last night - too bad the team sucked.

MTS Brings 4G HSPA Wireless Service to Churchill

In addition to yesterday's launch in Churchill, MTS has turned up its 4G HSPA network in Snow Lake and Ebb & Flow First Nation, and will bring the service to Bissett, Fisher River First Nation and Middlebro in the coming weeks. More than 4,000 people living and working in these communities will benefit from this investment.

Full Press Release.
