Wonder when we will get HGTV HD? I remember when it was promised to us in their package restructuring almost a year ago?? I should have kept the letter they sent :-)

The HD channel has launched elsewhere... so this is in MTS' court now.

MTS seems to me really slow at picking up HD speciality channels reported as "launched" elsewhere.

For example:

Space HD
OLN HD
Disney XD HD
Much HD
Documentary HD
Wild TV HD
OWN HD
YTV HD
W HD
Food Network HD
Bravo HD
Sportnet One HD

CoryB, Wild TV HD is channel 497. Most of the other channels you listed aren't available on many providers yet. This indicates the content owners are being very hard-nosed negotiators. Shaw Media just licensed a bunch of HD channels to Bell yesterday, so maybe things will start moving.

It has been a while since I looked but SportnetOne both in HD and SD seemed to be picked up everywhere long before MTS even got the SD feed.

I understand the negotiation side of things too as it is why TSN Jets is $10/month on MTS yet included in the basic service on Bell. MTS knows how to play hardball too, just ask any Telus Mobility customer about roaming on the MTS network when you go outside the city of Winnipeg...
