Bell Hardware Return

I'm trying to gather all Bell equipment at my parents house to send back to them. They mailed us a list of equipment to be returned.

The list from Bell does not match what we have in the house. They were mainly internet and TV customers.

There is a Home Hub 2000 Fast 5250, two wireless TV receivers, model 2502. The hub is not listed on their equipment list. The Bell HD PVR model 2262 is listed and that is what is missing from the house.

Bell has told me they can't get TV without the 2262...but they have been watching without it? I don't know bells hardware very well...can the home hub replace the 2262 and connect to the 2502's for TV service?

It is possible that all they had at one time was a Bell model 2500 and the HD PVR....we requested a new TV upstairs for my dad and I think that's when they got the two 2502's.

Thanks
Warren

Usually Bell sends mail stickers for internet equipment later because of different billing cycles.

If you can record tv shows and pause live tv then you do infact have a pvr. Another side note, a pvr is mandatory for your whole home setup even if u dont need one its mandatory so yes you have one check again

No - there's got to be a PVR of some form to manage the two 2502 set top boxes. Maybe it's tucked away out of sight as it doesn't HAVE to be next to a TV.

Former Rogers VIP, now Bell Fibe, Sony KDL40W3000, BDPS350, Philips Streamium NP2500 (2). DS209 NAS, Playbook

Check the lines running from the home hub. 1 line either coax or cat 5 cable should be running to the HD PVR.
