Bell Fibe TV - Freezing Issue: Live TV, Restart and PVR
I'm new to the Digital Home community and this is my first post.
I have been a Bell Fibe TV subscriber for almost six years now and ever since I moved into my new home I have been experiencing freezing issues with my service. I never had any issues with the service at my old home.
Bell technical support had me switch out my two VIP2202 HD receivers that were connected to the HomeHub 2000 via coax cable with two 2502 HD wireless receivers. This was done after Bell had run a number of signal tests and had technicians dispatched to my home on two separate occasions and not being able to resolve the problem.
This somewhat mitigated the issue when watching live TV as it now only freezes every few hours. The bigger issue is when watching TV using "Restart" and when watching any recorded program using the "PVR" the programming constantly freezes. My PVR is the VIP2262 HD receiver.
I also have Bell Fibe 25 Internet and this service is working without issues. I ran a speed test to the modem and I'm getting approximately 31Mbps down and 10Mbps up with a latency of 12ms.
I'm currently at a loss at what steps to follow to address this issue. Any input would be appreciated.
