Best bet is, when you see a few Bell trucks in the area (1-3 weeks) sometimes they've got tents covering their work, at that point, it's sooner than later.

Unfortunately, even if you're told 6 months, there's no guarantee that it will actually reach you by then.
The 6 month window is generally given when they're updating the local area to handle 25/10 and 50/10, as a general rule, FibeTV will come after that. Not always though.

What's the max connection that Bell says you can get now?

I have not asked about a max connection as I am with Cogeco for internet right now, I was exited a year ago when I saw said trucks (3 or 4) in the area for a week. Just looking for the "better picture quality" as I have a very large TV and my Shaw Satellite probably has the worst PQ out of any supplier. I'm sure it's still on it's way but I just feel left out and am not a very patient fellow. Thanks for the reply but there still must be some employee that can give me a more accurate time frame.

Around here a sure test for Fibe FTTN is when the Bell box on the street corner suddenly has a hydro meter mounted on top of it. I guess the phantom powering of POTS is not enough for the fibre gear.

Unhappy Availability Of service Issue

Hi, I have noticed that the area has been upgraded to provide Fibe TV service in my area. Issue is, ALL of my neighbors have the service available to them. (I checked each address using Bell's on-line tool), ONLY my address does not have it. I have called Bell and they confirmed my address does not show up as the service available to it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

You could be at the end of the cable run, or it's possible you are on a different run.

The tool does in part use distance from the slam, once in a while it's not accurate.
What level of DSL does it say you can get at your address?

Odds are you are near the end of the run, or your house is fed by a different one.

If you PM me your number, I'll look into the address tomorrow and get back to you.
How is the street laid out? Are you at the end?
If you go and follow the poles from your house, is yours the end of the line? If in the middle, are the neighbours on either side able to get it?

Thanks very much... Address is 59 [removed for privacy] L4A0b8''. I'm At the bottom of a crescent with homes on either side have at least 25 meg down and fibe tv available. I' don't think I'm at the end of but rather in the middle. Yes both on either side can get it.

Thanks again for your help

You should be on the same run as they are.

Thanks, Now what would be my course of action. Every time I call Bell they say I can only get 10mg. Funny I was able to get 15 last year.

It's a qualification issue, it's being fixed, you should get a call at the number you provided me from sales.

Let me know you how make out.
