10:10 pm - Looks like whatever they did at the C.O. at Main & Kingston seems to be working - no pixelation in the past 2 hours.

Same here. I'm going to wait until 11:00 pm and then call the C.O. back and let them no everything looks good.

What will I do with all my free time now? No more whining and complaining!

Dare we say that the issue has been resolved? I'm still good here.
Hope everyone else in the Beach(es) are also happy with their picture.

Apparently it was a software upgrade they did to try and improve things and obviously there was a glitch, according to the C.O.

This is the first forum I participated in and I found it comforting to know I wasn't alone or insane with all these problems. I'm now really in my happy place!

Upgrade gone wrong. I guess everyone in Toronto can thank us for being the guinea pigs on this one.

I'm just hoping this also resolves my 'summary menu' problems - haven't had one in a few days but just when I think it's over, one pops up.

I never had the picutre breakup issues like you guys were experiencing - probalby because I'm connected to a different CO. I checked out the maps and one of the tools, and I'm apparently connected to the CO on Don Mills just north of Lawrence.

I still do have the sound dropouts though - it's more of a 'clipping' type of sound than anything else - the sound drops out for a split second, then comes back, but it's easy to miss what people are saying.

The problems we were experiencing affected telephone numbers with the exchange starting '69?'. I haven't noticed any audio problems either since last night, not even clipped words. Everything is perfect right now and will hopefully remain so. Our C.O. just called me to see if everything was O.K. this morning and said it was hard to locate the problem but once they did they realized what happened - whatever that means.

If you haven't already done so perhaps you should open a ticket with Bell support and monitor how often it happens - just keep bugging them until they fix it!

So all my recordings this week seems to have a few issues for the audio sound dropout for a split second (just enough to miss a word) but it would only happen intermittently, no pattern or schedule, maybe once every few minutes. Additionally there would be a few rare instances of the sound dropout accompanied by some pixellation or slight freezing (maybe 3-4 times in an hour).

Is anyone else experiencing these problems? I haven't had time to call in to complain yet. I'm in the Beaches area.

wm_cheng: have you noticed this today because the problem was fixed around 8:15 pm yesterday. I haven't had any video or audio problems since then and I've watched a whole bunch of stuff.

Just an update for those that have the popup 'summary menu' problem, it just happened to me while watching a recording. I guess it was too much to hope that everything would be fixed!

I'm following up on the INFO screen popping up. Can someone post the version of Mediaroom that you're using with Bell (TV2 client version)? If the menus are the same as MTS, press:

Menu, Settings, General, System Information, System Info.

MTS just updated the Mediaroom software today and I think I had this happen to me for the first time ever. I think it may be a bug in a specific version.

@pshine - sorry but wasn't watching at 6:40 pm today
The 'client version': 1.6.25314.3

It doesn't say TV2
