Smile Some antenna finds.

Ran into some nice finds.

Quantum 1114. New in box.

Motorola UM-1. New in box
Notice the brackets and the curved reflector.
If anybody has an information on this one. I would be interested in hearing about it.
I am kind of curious if Motorola made an 8 bay as well.

Radioshack VHF. Looks like it is a updated version of my Archer. This one is 160 inches long.

The end caps on the Radio Shack have a large A on them.
I suspect it is an Archer.

Recently picked up this quad array.
Needs a little TLC.
The booms are 6061 aluminum and the elements are solid 3/8 round bar.

Just picked up this 1112.
Is my understanding correct in that the 1111 and the 1112 are the same antenna. Except for 2 extra directors on the nose piece and a 3rd set of floating directors?

These come from consumer or commercial sites? Some nice heavy duty units!

SBGH @ 46', 10' C-band, & various home made projects...

The antenna in post #4 certainly looks like a commercial grade single channel antenna for use by cable companies. The others look like well made consumer antennas.

It is actually a Sitco.

I'll have to check. However I believe it is tuned for channel 11.

An engineer from the company sent me some original parts for it for free.
Not sure of the year. However I have found the units in articles dating back to about 1961.
