Question Weird problem with my ASUS Memopad HD8

Last week, I brought my Memopad at work. I was able to read my emails and what not in the morning. I then turned it off.

In the afternoon, I tried turning it on, nothing. However, I can see it is kinda on as there is a faint glow. It is as if the backlight is on but no main screen.

I tried loading it wiht the power down and vol down button but nothing happens except maybe flickering of the said backlight.

I connected it to my computer and tried the ADB commands to see if it responds to these and it does. So this tells me the tablet is responsive but not giving me any "main" picture. Anyone know what I could try.

And yes, it is fully charged. It is also the ME180A.

Home Theatre: Yamaha HTR-6190, Klipsch Speakers, SANYO PLV-Z4, TOSHIBA HDDVD, LG BD555C, Cerwin Vega HTS12 Sub, VIP2300, XBox 360, HTPC.
