Photo recovery software?

Hi, I lost some photos from my digital camera (Canon SX600 HS), anyone knows a good photo recovery tool? I tried with Recuva but I was not able to recover my pictures.
I hope what I have requested is possible.
Thanks!

How were they lost? Card corrupted? Accidentally deleted? Accidentally Formatted? Did you take any more photos after you realized they were lost?

Hi, first of all thank you for your reply.

1- They were lost by accidentally formatted.
2- Yes my boy took photos after formatting.

I'm afraid they are basically lost then.
Once new photos are taken the camera over writes over old deleted data.

I've used the Recuva software when accidently deleting photos and it was able to recover photos but I didn't take any new photos once I realized my mistake.

There are data recovery specialists out there that might be able to recover something but they charge a fair amount and with new photos written over top there may only be a certain amount recovered or only partial file recovery.

not necessarily lost, it depends on how much of the card was written to.

Sandisk makes a recovery program, try that.

Hi again,
I have a doubt, I read about this photo recovery software http://www.cimaware.com/main/product...tefixphoto.php that is very good and is cheap, so I do not know what to buy, if this software, or the Sandisk recovery program that you say.

The photos are very important to me, are a part of my family.
What do you recommend?

I again, finally I used the demo of DeleteFIX and It worked excellent because in the preview I saw the photos recovered, so I decided to purchase it.
In my case, DeleteFIX worked excellent and now I have the photos again.
Cheers.

Awesome. Consider your self lucky this time. Usually when files over write lost ones they can be gone for good.

If it ever happens again don't do anything after deleting or formatting go right to recovery

Glad you have your memories back
