This joke went way over my head....

I have a photographic memory, trouble is most times the lens cap is on.

Write only memory is kind of useless. It means you can write something, but never read it. It's a play on read only memory, which you can't write to, but can read. It's often use for stuff that shouldn't be changed.

I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

True story.

I once inherited a design that included a write only register block. It was a bit of a pain to debug.
