NFL Sunday Ticket on Rogers Oct. 19 2008

By my count, 4 games were NOT available in HD on Sunday and they were all 1:00 pm Eastern start times.

Balt-Miami
Pitt-Cincy
NO-Carolina
Dall-St. L

The SD-Buff game had technical problems and as a result, they went to the Pittsburgh-Cincy game during that outage and it was in HD.

I have been averaging at least 2 games a week that are not available in HD either on the slot of channels reserved for Sunday Ticket or on the HD versions of the regular networks (CBS, CBSW, Fox etc)

Anyone else feeling ripped off? Is there a reasonable explanation for this? The 4:00 pm EST starts have all been available in HD this year although there are usually less games at 4 as well.

Between this issue, the failure to get TSN2 and RDS HD on the network is starting to make me think about dropping the package altogether. My cable bill is expensive but I don't mind if I feel I am getting my money's worth. Not sure I am anymore as SD just doesn't cut it when it comes to sports.

discussed many times. The net is that NFLST for HD is not worth it, never has! What is on NFLST in HD is usually available on regular tv.

Bell has a much better track record for NFLST in HD. For instance, my nephew had all the games available except for one in HD last Sunday. That has been the case all season long. He gets nearly every game in HD.

So would you say its more of a Rogers problem than a Sunday Ticket thing?

I would like to register a complaint about the tone you take with some questions as well. I have a job and a life and try to read as much as I can on this list but there is always a possibility that I will miss a topic and its discussion. So I won't apologize for asking a legit question and I resent your dismissive "Never has!"
