Well, Bell might answer that question by telling you to migrate to Bell, get the timeshifting package where they have CTV Toronto which almost always has Bills Sunday games.

And I am like you. I watch football games with a bit of lead time (30' for CFL, 40' for NFL, 50' for NCAAF). I then skip all the commercials and half-time shows and I usually get to the game live just before it is over.

awebber,

He was right in saying 6 games, but then listed 7. The NYJets/ Oakland game is on TSN2, so it is actually 6 that are not offered.

Before Bell had a stranglehold on the NFL rights, I found they were showing more games than they do now.

Are you just counting CTV/CTV2/TSN Feeds in your counts? Various U.S. feeds are offering different games every weekend that aren't being captured by Bell. It just depends what your provider uses as their source of content.

Bell Satellite is all Boston/Seattle in the Toronto area, but on most cable systems it is Buffalo feeds. Head to SW Ontario and the feeds are replaced with Detroit, and even some smaller providers include a few Cleveland/Erie feeds. Move a bit north along Lake Huron, and the feeds are from Saginaw. Same can be said for the games for those who get Rochester, or even further east in NY (Waterdown, etc) on their providers.

Here are the games (and ** potential games with Tropo) I can get just with OTA this weekend from Niagara (as I posted in the GTA OTA Sports feed):

Thursday 8pm:
Houston @ Cincinnati - CTV2

Saturday 1pm:
Buffalo @ Carolina - CTV / CBS
Minnesota @ Pittsburgh - FOX Buffalo/Erie
Philadelphia @ Kansas City - FOX Rochester
**New England @ New Orleans is on CTV Ottawa / Northern Ontario, CBS Detroit
**Cleveland @ Baltimore is on CBS Cleveland/Toledo

Saturday 4:00/4:25pm:
Dallas @ Denver - FOX / CTV

Sunday 8pm:
Green Bay @ Atlanta - NBC / CTV2

I don't think that CTV/TSN/Bell can cover every possibility...and therefore you may get a game or two they aren't broadcasting like Cleveland at Baltimore.

RDS is carrying PIT/CHI at 1pm and SEA/TEN at 4pm

For those in S.W. Ontario, the CLE @ IND will be available OTA from Toledo and Cleveland. Some local cable systems may still carry those CBS stations???

Pittsburgh @ Chicago is on OTA from CBS Erie, PA for those in SW Ontario. I believe those on the Lake Erie shoreline may get this on smaller cable systems, but it is one of he easier stations to get OTA.

I've notice that so far - including Week 4 - CTV & TSN is always showing exactly 7 Sunday afternoon games.

I don't thing it's a coincidence: probably a limit set by the NFL in order to keep some games exclusive to DAZN.

Yes - the [email protected] and [email protected] broadcast maps are showing them being broadcast in the regions the teams are from (and for some reason the [email protected] game is on in very Northern California and Southern Oregon).

@Inglewood : Oregon likes to feature Tennessee Titans games because their quarterback Mariota played collegiately at the University of Oregon

I forgot to post this last week but I think it applies all season. BUF was supposed to be AB only for me (plus Toronto & Kitchener, which I don't get) so I set it to record on Calgary SD early in the week. On Sunday morning the Rogers IPG was showing BUF on Ottawa so I recorded that too. I didn't think too much of it because I think it was showing TBA long after the lineup was first posted here.

As it turned Ottawa had the PHI game as posted (same as Montreal).

I'm posting to say that no matter how many CTV channels you have, don't trust the IPG without verifying.
