Ya, this is one of the rare occurrences where because of the Canadian Grand Prix (CTV @ 2pm, Fox Simsub), Euro 2012 (TSN @ noon) and NASCAR Sprint Cup: Pocono 400 (TSN2 @ noon) that they had to use CTV2 for sports coverage in case the tennis goes a full 5 sets. I don't think they wanted to and if TSN/TSN2 didn't have other coverage I bet you it would had aired their instead of CTV2. I actually can't think of any other time dating back to CKVR having Raptors basketball and CHRO having Sens hockey where sports has aired on these stations, let alone the entire network.

Cant say Ive seen this before, but coming back from commercial, CTV2 somehow had the NBC broadcast with bars on top and bottom on the HD Channel. A switch of channels fixed it.

^^^ Usopen playoff between Tiger and Rocco was also on CTV2, just to get the monday nbc simsub.

What a freakin' joke Canadian networks are. They truly are. Can they do anything on their own?

CTV hijacking FOX for the Canadian Grand Prix... they can't even produce that on their own and it's in Canada??? Euro2012 being produced by someone else on TSN, same with NASCAR on TSN2 being produced by TNT. Global hijacking the PGA Tour coverage on CBS.

And now CTV2 hijacking NBC's French Open coverage, all because CTV's empire of useless networks were busy taking over other telecasts? You've got to be kidding me.

Seriously, Canadian networks just sit on their arse, plug themselves into whatever US network they want, rake in easy cash, and then repeat the process 8.7 million times a year.

Pathetic.

Disgusting.

Infuriating.

Sad.

No simsub -- at least it wasn't substituted on Rogers cable here in Toronto. I checked out of curiosity, even though I can receive both on antenna. It was the same event being shown live on both CTV and Fox, but with different announcers and some other differences.
Did Bell TV simsub it on their own, as they have before by subbing TSN for NBC?

According to the French Open website play will resume at 7am ET. Presumably this will be on TSN and NBC not CTV2. Anyone know?

The French Open Men's Final, which was postponed by rain, will be continued on TSN, Monday at 7am et/4am pt.
It will be on TSN. But if for some reason it goes long - they are calling for some rain on Monday - I wouldn't be surprised if it gets shifted over to TSN2.

They are also live streaming from 2 courts on their website. If tv is available on the courts our Canadians are playing on, hopefully they will show them, but I'm not betting on it.

TSN has tweeted that they will show the Raonic match live on TSN2 Tuesday time tbd. It is the 4th match on court and with possible rain delay the time is hard to even guess. Best to track live scoring online and see how the earlier matches are progressing.

TSN says the Raonic match is on a court without cameras. They are showing Pospisil's match at TSN.ca. Stream quality is very good.

Actually, TSN is now showing the Pospisil match. They just had a scroll saying they would return to ESPN's coverage at the conclusion of the Canadian Pospisil's match. So I'd imagine TSN will do the same for Raonic (assuming he's still in the tournament and palying on a televised court) in future matches as he's a bigger name in Canada.

The Raonic match was unfortunately moved from the original televised court to a non televised court. The match is currently in the 3rd set.

And I think we all know the only reason we're seeing Pospisil is because he's playing an American.
