CFCF-DT 99%

Près des frontières Ontario - New-York
Encore les anglos qui prennent le devant. Attendons toujours Radio-Can, TVA et V.

Bonne nouvelle!!

-------------------------------------
This is to let you all know that the new Ch.51 DTV transitional transmitter in Montreal is operational as of 2:00pm today. What makes this transmitter project special was the quick turnaround from concept, planning, licensing and installation to have this service up and running. This was only made possible by a hardworking, conscientious and resourceful team. I wish to personally thank all of you for your participation and going that extra mile in order to meet our required timelines. I will attempt a credit roll and apologize in advance if I am missing anyone. Please pass my thanks to those that I may have missed.

IC Licencing: Wolf Riesterer & Kerry Pelser from DEM Allen & Associates

CRTC Licencing: David Spodek , CTV Toronto

Industry Canada Approval: Martin Dumas & team, IC Ottawa and David Parcigneau, IC Montreal

DTV Transmitter Supply : Marcy Evans & Sean East, Harris Broadcast

DTV Antenna & Installation: Brian Grundy & crew, Grundy Telecom Integration

DTV Transmitter Installation: Jeff Forgeron, CTV Toronto, Dan Kowal & team, CTV Montreal

DTV Transmitter Electrical: Belmont Electric

DTV Transmitter Fibre Feed: Leslie Bodnar & installation team, Bell Canada

Transmitter Building Management: Real Laquerre, SNC-Lavalin Nexacor

PSIP Generation Equipment: Mario Roy & Louis Sebastiani, Incospec

HD-ASI & PSIP Integration: Ryan Morris & Andrews Marchismo, CTV MTS (Toronto) and Annibale Romano, CTV Montreal

Power meter loan: Mike Henninger, SBL Toronto

Other tower surveys: Yann Benoit, Bell Mobility

Again, great job everyone and the CTV viewers from Montreal thank you.

--------------------------------

Salut
