Thanks but according to the Install Manual skew at Kamloops is 79 for Sat A, and 82 for Sat B. I assume 81 is a compromise between them, and I tweaked the dish a bit off in each direction looking for best signal strength.


Thanks for the links and all. I agree the setup is looking at both Birds => at the Lake and here at home => but I'm concerned about not being able to exceed 70 on the signal strength using the temporary setup at the Lake.

(By the way, my misses wants me to take down the unsightly dish today as we've got folks coming over for dinner.)


Do you happen to know when the Sun Transit would occur at Paul Lake? It would be usefull to let other neighbor's know so they could easily check if they could see the sun over the mountain, and therefore have a good chance at Sat TV.
