Fox has its core redneck news junkies who watch everyday, but when something big happens, regular folks tune into CNN makes sense.

Thumbs down

I don't consider myself a redneck for watching FOX News everyday. It's a typical Liberal attack, to demonize anything contrary to their beliefs. If that is the case, about CNN outdrawing FOX when news items break, then how do you explain the 8PM timeslot being number 1 for over 8 years? Even Huckabee's Saturday and Sunday night timeslot at 8PM, outdraws what CNN can throw at them during the week. Sour grapes, for those who hate FOX News' Conservative message.

You are talking cable news which in reality are small numbers of viewer's.
Fox is the republican mouth piece.
MSNBC is the democrat mouth piece.
CNN actually do unbiased reporting.
Since Fox gets the highest ratings, I guess they have captured their core audience who tunes in everyday.
Liberals are more likely to try other sources or maybe just don't watch that much TV.
FYI I used to be a Fox fan but after watching the other channels I realised they very much spin the story to fit the conservative agenda, same as MSNBC does for the progressive agenda.
Now I prefer CNN or CBC to get the real story.

CBC? I watch it too, just to read between the lines of the Liberal Party Of Canada, propaganda ministry. It's hard to find a Conservative voice, in the News media of Canada. Quebecor's Sun media chain is the only one that I know of. I'm not criticizing Liberals; I just know that you can't debate them without being called a redneck, racist, bigot or neanderthal. That is how you know when you've got the best of a Liberal.

Sirius Guy, I disagree that CNN is unbiased. It may not be overtly Democratic, but it definitly has a liberal slant to everything, the same as the three major networks. By the way, liberal is NOT equivalent to progressive: a liberal means someone who believes the government should direct the population and economy while the size of government grows and taxes rise. All networks except Fox News have the liberal bias, including those in Canada!

That's why we must have Fox News on Shaw Direct - to see the voice of individual responsibility and initiative. It also fills the void in the Canadian media.

Any news on Shaw Direct potentially adding CBS College Sports?

I am aware that MWC football is the primary offering, that is what I am looking for.

Thanks.
