Not quite sure how DIY differs from HGTV? (Perhaps a timeshifting version of HGTV?)
Makes me further believe that all you really need in Canada for TV is a handful of channels and a PVR. Everything seems to be repeated across a bevy of channels!

Also, you also wonder what happened to the "G" in HGTV...

I've been watching DIY for a number of years and it differs vastly from HGTV.
I think DIY is much more hands on project orientated.
Each program focus's on a particular room or trade skill from landscaping to brick and stone work. Kitchens, Bathrooms and Man Caves.
HGTV seems a fair bit softer.

DIY has some outstanding programs that hopefully make the Canadian version.

Cool Tools comes to mind.
I also like Rock Solid and Blog Cabin.
Haulin' House is another.
According the the announcement, the regular are their.

I don't know about you guys, but the score hd was at the top of my list. Now all we need is Raptors HD.

Glad for Score HD

Really glad they added Score HD and about time. Sports coverage really requires HD. Now for the NFL network in HD.

Would love to have more NFL HD channels for the Sunday Ticket. Would also love to have additional College Football games in HD as well.

The Sunday Ticket HD channel we have now is a joke. Take today for example, they are showing the NY-New Orleans game on the Sunday Ticket HD channel yet it's also on CTV Toronto and FOX Rochester.

EPL looks fantastic in Score HD.
Wonder why Sportsnet HD can't carry games in HD as well??

565 on Classic lineup. Turned it on just in time to get five minutes of commercials. Jeez.

I don't know why anyone would pay for the NFL package. With the combination of East and West feeds of the US networks and the various Sportsnet Feeds, you basically get every game anyway. I feel sorry for the poor suckers who pay for this service.

If however, they offered a package where you could view multiple games at the same time or they alerted you to games where a team was in the "red zone", then it may be worth paying extra.

Personally, I think that Shaw Direct should get rid of both the Centre Ice and NFL packages and replace them with more channels in both SD and HD.

Bring back TV Land and SunTv or add Muchmoreretro, more PPV channels, etc.

+1

Someone at Shaw Direct is a sports' idiot to the detriment of other offerings. I received an e-mail flogging Superchannel and the whole theme of that e-mail was to get it because they are showing some boxing match.

Shaw Direct, where is bpm:tv?

I couldn't disagree more. If they ditched the center ice package, I would jump ship the same day. In fact, I didnt leave Bell until Shaw added the Center Ice package.

The NFL package though, I could live without.
