If you do hard reset and rehit online, when will all channels come back?

Today I did a hard reset trying to fix my live trick play problem.

However, 2 online rehits later, only SD channels came back. No F2 satellite channels, no guide, etc. etc. Yes, it was on channel 299 and everything.

During the night, is it possible my channels and guide will come back, or no hope? Should I leave it turned on to channel 299, or put to channel 299 and turn it off? Thanks. DSR530.

Thanks.

The guide "should" take about 15 minutes to come back... it will DL faster if you're on an HD channel (or so I've been told).

Change the channel to 280 (TSN) and let it sit for a bit. If everything doesn't come back then give SC a call.

I can't even go to 280 because it's all messed up. This sucks. Oh well, thanks for your help!

Did you do a factory reset? If so I think you're going to have to call to get your channel maps reset.

The online hit just sends a refresh signal. If you do a factory reset, it clears the channel maps, and a CSR has to reset them.

I'm not sure about that.
The other night I did a factory reset (with preserve hard drive option) and I simply used the online tool to get it back up again. It regained the proper authorization status within 5 minutes and the channels were back within 20 minutes.

Ditto. I did the factory reset 6-4-9-8-8-6 and then went on-line to re-initialize my receivers and it worked well. About 6-8 minutes and everything was back working again.

Just to update you guys, it never came back after the online hit (all the channels and guide) until the middle of the night, but it did come back.

If you had tried to change the channels maybe too soon you could have corrupted the channel map.

As Raymond was saying, once you have the hit sent, let it sit for 6 minutes or so before changing the channel.

Yeah, i"d let it sit about 1 hour between, so that wasn't the problem.

However, it did come back during the night, so no worries.
