Disable PPV

Hi
Just wondering if there is a way to disable PPV. We will be renting our place in the near future and I don't want to come back to a big bill. I know I can just tell them not to order, but if I can prevent an accidental purchase and not have to say anything, that would be better.

Thanks

You can use parental control to accomplish what you are looking for

I believe Shaw can disable PPV at their end as well. At one time, having PPV disabled was the default for new accounts. Don't know if that is still true. Setting parental controls to hide PPV channels and disable purchases is a good idea as well.

Thanks - I think just removing the channels from the guide will be enough - and setting a global PIN

As long as that cannot be bypassed without a PIN. Parental controls will block them and require a PIN to see them. I believe PPV purchases can be blocked with a global PIN as well.
