HDPVR Timers 830 or 630

How many timers do these PVR's allow.

I am with Bell and their PVR's allow 96 maximum...and I'm really tired of maxing out and having to delete timers in order to make new ones.

Wow - I thought I had a lot of timers on my 630 - 96 WOW. I suggest that you text-chat with Shaw Direct to ask that question. Click on the link below:

Yes I would like to know how you use your pvr. We watch a lot of TV and record everything we watch. We probably have about 50 "series" set up to record.'If they were all weekly programs it would be 100 in a 2 week period but as it can be golf or curling events one item scheduled could be much more per week(like 16 curling games on a "timer?"

I just checked the 630; I have exactly 100 timer events scheduled.

Every so often we go thru that options list and prune out the shows that are no longer being aired or in which we have lost interest. I was surprised to actually look at the number of them - 100 - that we actually use. Amazing. I remember the days when we had a VCR connected to the C-Band receiver and how many timer events were possible.
