It doesn't really bother me either, but I have disabled it, and the "PPV Now" line is still there on my PVR list. I never had it there until last week. Not sure why it's not working for me??

Thanks @mellaby for the solution. That was easy. Perhaps totally coincidentally but when this feature appeared my PVR functions seemed to slow down. It no appears to respond more quickly to bring up the list and bring up PVR functions now that have disabled this.

Maybe try removing the movies listed inside the "PPV Now" entry. Then it should disappear and maybe it won't return.

Update...When I turned it on tonight it was gone. Things that make you go hmmmmm....
