Question about Shaw Direct satellite

my sister used to have shaw direct satellite a few years ago but she didn't pay her bill and it got disconnected but the satellite still remains in the same position on her house ,can I buy a receiver and activate on MY account and give it to her, would that work? ,,I'm a current subscriber to shaw, would my receiver work at her house if she hooked it up!

This is called account splitting. It is illegal and is not discussed on this forum.
