i do believe we will have the USA west feeds in HD moving forward, but instead of Seattle and Spokane, there will only be one from my understanding

am i understanding we are losing the USA west feeds, because from everything I've read and the new channel lineup/changes there will still be one West Feed in HD .. seattle and spokane SD channels will be dropped but we will still have the West HD feeds for ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC

All true @Billy34 , but tvmaster and I were discussing the Comedy network, not the big USA nets. Seattle has been in HD for a long time all ready and yes Spokane Nets will be dropped.

Nope, just Comedy will be reduced to ONE, East HD feed when the TWO SD feeds are killed...

It might actually be CTV that is killing the west feed and not Shaw Direct. Remember Comedy is becoming CTV Comedy Channel in the fall. I don't see why they would have a west feed of this CTV branded channel and not the others (CTV Life Channel, CTV Drama Channel and CTV Sci-Fi Channel).

Can someone post all of the PPV channels that appear in the guide as of June 25th along with the IPG label? I know the SD PPV was dropped on that day. Not sure if the old SD positions mirror the HD equivalent or if they disappeared entirely.

That helps. Is there anything on 951-953? The other block I'm curious about is 790+

CNBC, I think we're trying to work in this year - if not, it too will be 2020.

These do not have an HD feed, but would become HD if ever available:

A.Side
Book Television
ESPN Classic
Fashion Television
Northern Legislative Assembly
Avis de Recherche (AdR)
Canal Savoir
MTV2

(also the Adult services, with the exception of Playboy TV which will be HD on June 25).

The Ethnic channels are not planned to convert to HD.
Can you explain what’s happening to the AM & FM radio channels up in the 800’s on the Classic East map?

What happens to them when SD channels disappear.

My old, grandfathered Titanium Plan included all of the radio channels - is there a package (small, medium, large) which includes them now? I looked at the four-page package comparative .pdf file, but RADIO channels weren’t listed in any package.

https://assets.ctfassets.net/tzb4ihm...risonChart.pdf

And that same .pdf is confusing with regards to both Stingray Audio & Video channels - one line lists them as included in each package, and one line lists them as NOT included in ANY package.

What’s the true answer?

Thanks.

All the radio stations (with the exception of US radio stations) will continue to be available in an Mpeg4 audio only format. In fact they are in dual feed mode now. Shaw Broadcast will drop the older versions (Mpeg2) this month. I believe the new national map already maps to the new Mpeg4 transponder locations. The handful of US radio from Spokane drop in September. As to that chart, yes it looks confusing about Stingray Video channels, the Stingray Music (audio channels) look to be available in everything but the Limited package. It doesn't really cover the radio stations, they may be lumped in with Stingray Music channels but that is just a guess on my part.

Thanks LONSat. Do you know what satellite the radio channels will likely end up on going forward? I checked a few links here and couldn’t find evidence if what Sat/Transponder they were coming from.

It’s the Stingray Video channels I hope continue as inclusions. I’ve come to enjoy the music-only videos playing continuously...

Any idea, K801809? Are these video channels included in all packs or excluded.
