Losing HD channels random

Hi the other night we dialed by FOX HD I think West but Im not positive and then we came back a few minutes later and it was gone and the Shaw rcvr said no signal. Now tonite its fine but NBC West is gone. I have a spredsheet it says NBC HD West is the same xpdr as ABC West HD which is fine. Is there a way on Shaw to see what xpdr you're on? All I can find is the instalation stuff that says signal strength and satellite but not xpdr.

Can someone tell me for sure if NBC and ABC are on the same xpdr and if not whose on the xpdr with NBC so I can try those channels? Has any body else seen channels just come and go random?

10 mins later--now CBS is back it looks like their all there!

Hi BigSteve yes its very wierd, they're all ok tonite but a couple of nites ago we didn't get CBS East. I saw another thread some body with a 630 rcvr but we have a 605 so it isn't the rcvr.

I just had this problem this week, on Sunday. I was recording Survivor finale on CBS east. The rcvr showed no signal. The show didn't record. I have it set to record on both my PVRs. One recorded 45mins before cutting out (even though the recording showed 2hrs) and the other didn't record anything at all. So I set up a recording for the 3hr time shift scheduled on CBS west. Both PVRs recorded 2hrs worth but neither recording worked when accessed to watch. All other channels were working fine and I was recording a hockey at 8pm EST as well and that one was just fine. Very upsetting.
