Angry President's Cup live on the Golf channel - NOT!

Last night I set a recording of the President's Cup on The Golf Channel, as the guide said, then noticed it was also scheduled for TSN, but left it as it didn't matter where I recorded it, or so I thought. I sit down at one today and watch the pregame half hour program. I get about 10 minutes, the screen goes black for 5 seconds and then I'm watching Big Break!!! Fast forward, no change, switch to the recording of the golf, Big Break. I go to TSN, the President's Cup is being shown. So hit record but I miss 3 plus hours of it. I hope I will be able to get some of it tonight on the Golf channel replay.

So why is this program on the Golf channel shown in the guide as President's Cup? Those of us who watch things recorded depend on the guide to be accurate and when it is not, we miss what we want to watch. This is very frustrating and destroys the whole idea of PVR. I just checked the internet guide and it shows Big Break. I don't understand.

I just check the online guide for tonight and it shows big break - no replay.

It's analogous to F1 races that were on SPEED and TSN. TSN has the Canada rights, SPEED (or in this case Golf Channel) has the US rights. The listings are for the US version. So those channels are blacked out at the behest of the rights holder (TSN)
