Satellite or Internet
While the legality of downloading TV shows is an ongoing issue, many more folks are doing so. High resolution, no commercials, on-demand, and so on. I watch my Shaw mostly for the news channels now.
BUT on my Nexus tablet, I can get tons of headlines and news video feeds from anywhere in the world, in any language, at no cost other than my Internet fees.
While the tablet screen is kind of tiny, it's great in bed. And I can always Roku it to the TV if I want to. So I'm seriously considering cancelling my Shaw Direct account. At $150/mo, it's gotten pretty damn steep.
My question is, how many of us here might be moving in the same direction?
