Third Sat.

So Shaw was saying that when the third Sat goes on line we will be getting new programs so can someone from SHAW tell me where they are, all I am getting is the same programs we had but on different numbers in the guide and repeated over and over again now I can watch more reruns but on different guide numbers on my TV there is nothing NEW ! Even the reruns are the same as if they put it on a loop so it can repeat itself for a few years the only thing that changed with this pathetic company is my Bill it just keeps going up for the Garbage we get to watch. If only the CRTC could DIE and let the American come to Canada for a little COMPATITION.

They're expanding to 214 HD channels total, so a lot of it will seem like the same to you and others. There's a few other channels coming (I believe they're here already), but I cannot be too sure exactly what they are. I'm not from Shaw, but I was briefed on it all.

I'll try to get the information and hand it off to you. Perhaps a search around here will show some results as well.

You need a 600 series receiver, and X-Ku LNBF, correct V-code, and to be in the G1 footprint.

The new HD lineup (includes new HD channels with previous existing), if you are set up for them, begin at 001 for Classic, and 501 for Advanced lineup.
The added small market SD locals being at 640 in Classic, 200 in Advanced (for most of them). The New Channels thread has all that discussion.
