If you go through the music menu, it shows "953 Fresh FM" or something similar. However, on the guide info banner when you switch to the channel it's incorrect. I brought it up a while ago along with several other wrong items and got a couple of replies ranging from "We're working with a third-party supplier to ensure it's up-to-date" to "What are you talking about?". I wish there was an option to show the radio channels in the guide and that they kept the names / details updated. I use them pretty regularly as we have a very limited FM choice and so the radio stations on SD help to fill in the gap. Anyway, I've diverged!

My 630 was cycling a bunch of numbers at 2am. I was hoping for something significant but nota.

Should make them put it on and say 'See! That is not country music!' lol I know that info is incorrect because I have them on the FM dial.

I filled out the survey. Crossing my fingers that I'll get the new guide soonest. I've just dropped Bell - guide on Bell wasn't good but it was WAAAY better than SD.

I have used both guides and find the Shaw Direct guide best. Why do you like Bell better?

I've seen posts that says SD's guide is old, clearly those people haven't seen Cogeco's guide. :P SD's current guide is far more modern looking.

I've heard when Bell launched their new guide, it was unstable for a while. Hope with SD it would work much better.

If you are asking for DLNA support, keep dreaming. You will get plug in DVR before that happens on a pay provider, especially in the spot Shaw Direct is in, where they are the only users of the 600 series receiver, s TV provider, snd content owner.

I've had Bell Sat for years and SD for about 1 year. Bell's guide is not perfect for sure but is vastly superior to SD. For other reasons I've cancelled Bell and am now 100% SD.

I launched a chat session with SD tech support and asked about the survey and I got this;

'You will know you are picked on the next cycle launch. At this time, we do not have a current cycle launch implemented for beta-testing via customer. If there is a launch, you will be informed via E-mail.'

Does any one know that 'next cycle launch' means?

I think I still find the current guide easier to read than the other two.

AT random, some thoughts why the Bell guide is better:

1) search works
2) you get more on the screen
3) no confusion about what channel is going to record
4) no colour distraction
5) easier to get unused / unsubscribed channels not to display
6) supplementary info is better (e.g. original air date, etc.)

Others too but I've only had one coffee so far this morning.
