This is what SD Emailed me this morning upon me asking them if anything will be done too get us more HD channels before Anik G1 launch in May month.

First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delayed launch of ANIK G1 and we would like to continue to support our customers with their viewing needs. At this time, the 2 satellites we are using now are completely full of the current channels we offer and this is why there are some delays on the HD programming we are able to provide. That being said, we are looking into ways around this (such as using the MPEG4 compression and removing unpopular channels) and we will continue to look into other options. In the end, we appreciate your patience during this time and please know you may contact us at any time if you have any further questions.
