Hi everyone,
Sorry if this is a newbie question. I'm new to North America and still getting use to the de facto dimensions for stuff.
I've installed wallboxes for low voltage use: speaker and network cabling. The distance between screw holes for faceplaces is 2.375". Some of the wall boxes are two- or three-gang and I can't seem to find two- or three-gang faceplates suitables for network and/or speaker cable (one of the wall boxes is three gang and is intended for 2 of the gangs to be used for speakers and one for network). The obvious solution, or so I thought, was to use Decora inserts which are readily available, but the faceplates that the Decora inserts fit into have 3.281" between mounting screws.
Any suggestions on how to proceed are very much welcomed.
Toby
