Bell ExpressVu Charges PST but Rogers Doesn't

Hi All,

I just noticed this as I opened both my Rogers and Bell bills today.

With Rogers I only have high speed internet service and with Bell I only have satellite service.

In comparing the bills, I noticed that Bell charges GST and Ontario PST. Rogers only charges GST and I believe this is correct as I'm only getting the service, not a modem rental. With Bell, again I'm only getting satellite service as I own my receiver.

Should I be paying PST on Bell?

Yes, you should be paying PST on Bell. Internet service is PST-exempt.
