New express view customer here

Im new to express view just signed up for a hd pvr and 3 standard boxes for the house my question is a phone line is like 20 to 50 feet away from anyone of the tvs do i need to have a phone line connected ?

I you do not connect them to a telpehone line it is possible that they will call you to update "the information" on the receiver.

It's actually getting information about the receiver that they want. They will ask you to go from receive to receiver and gather that information

If they are unable to get the info on one of them and it will automatically be shut off and you will need to reverify all 4 before the reconnection. Another verification can not be performed before 24 hours

I answer based on what I learned when I was working at BEV...it's possible that somethings have changed since then

Your terms and conditions with ExpressVu require you to connect to a phone jack although ExpressVu doesn't seem to get too worked up about it if you don't.
