Hello,

Bell have updated its Programming Guide

They are dated March 1st but they were publish recently (less than a few days ago, maybe today).

Sports Packages

I called and asked for a discount because Rogers in my area offered $30/mnth for all sports packages. This would be $360 for the year and through Bell NHL and NFL would be over $400 for the year. I was told they do not discount the packages but offered me 20% of my total monthly bill for a year which amount to about $240. Still not as good a deal as Rogers but I accepted.

Hi, I'm a new member.

The link for "all other regions English" is still pointing to fr; I would post the correct link if I could but I'm sure you can see the error.

I've got two hopefully simple questions: Firstly, is there any way to get Télétoon Rétro as part of an English package? It's part of French Basic; I take it this is mutually exclusive to the English Basic.

And secondly, how does one acquire the "additional hardware required" for certain channels? The asterisk is wonderfully vague but I assume this is an LNBF and/or switch to access satellite 82. Right now we can only get a subset of SD channels using one 2-cable LNBF on a Y arm.

you are correct you will require an additional LNBF and an SW21, for a single tuner to get you the 82 signals.

These are normally supplied and installed for free by Bell TV if you call to subscribe to any Channel from 82 degrees. If you want a DIY approach, the well known On-Line Auction site has everything you will need.

If you spot something on there that you think is what you need, feel free to PM me with the link I will check it out for you.

I noticed today that the pricing of packages on their website for NS are all $10 lower. This is obviously a error as I have not heard of a price decrease. The PDF of the programming brochure still shows the normal prices?

Has anyone noticed that on the main Packages and Receivers / Programming Packages page, on the Bell (QC) site, it no longer lists the À La Carte 15 and 20 packages? However, the PDF continues to list all three (15, 20, 30). Does this mean that À La Carte 30 is the only choice now available to new subscribers (in Quebec)?

Hey people,

So I'm thinking of FINALLY enrolling into Bell Satellite TV, and I'm able to get all the key channels I want, except in order to get the NFL Network, I must enroll into their package that would end up costing me over $100 a month! I have very little interest in all the other channels I would get with that so of course I said no. Now what bugs me the most about this is I'm in the only province where you can't simply pay $2.50 extra a month to get that channel! If I did enroll in the channels I wanted I'd still be paying a good $50-$70 a month so it's not like they can be like "oh he just pays $20 a month, no need if he doesn't wanna go with us" and I don't see the harm in letting me pay just to get the one channel more that I need.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get around this or convince them to let me just buy that one channel along with all my others?

Thank you,
Tyler.
