Twitter and Facebook to Stream 14 Hours of PGA Tour Content Live Starting This Week

According to Financial Post.com, Twitter and Facebook have announced they are set to stream 14 hours of the PGA Tour between the two of them.

The PGA Tour live streaming offering, which is normally a paid service starting at $5.99/month, will now be offered for free, starting with The Barclays this week. While watching the tour, fans will be able to interact with each other online in real time and share the live stream with friends.

The move is one that continues Twitter’s aim of increasing its video offerings to viewers, by focusing on streaming sports events live and providing a platform for fans to unite on, during the game.
