Telus Offers New Portfolio of Cloud Services to Canadian Businesses

Last week, Telus announced the expansion of their cloud portfolio, offering better deals in IT for Canadian businesses.

The new offerings include a full suite of managed Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions with cloud options for public and private accounts, as well as Canada’s first hybrid cloud offering built on the Cisco Cloud Architecture for the Microsoft Cloud Platform.

ms-ciscoTELUS says their cloud services portfolio enables organizations to build flexible and secure IT environments that can quickly adapt to meet business needs and drive operational efficiencies.

“Canadian businesses are in the midst of a digital revolution and IT leaders are being asked to manage increasingly complex environments amidst aging infrastructure and limited resources,” says Tom Jolly, vice president of Managed IT and Cloud Services, TELUS.

“The innovation of our cloud portfolio…allows us to work closely with our customers to understand their needs and build a flexible hybrid IT model that optimizes their investments and drives agility in their business.”

TELUS is the first provider in Canada to offer this solution through the Microsoft Cloud OS Network, a worldwide group of service providers that partner closely with Microsoft to offer customers hybrid cloud and Azure-enabled solutions.

In November 2015, TELUS earned the distinction of being placed in the Leaders category within the IDC Marketscape: Canadian Hybrid Cloud Services 2015 Vendor Assessment.2

TELUS Public and Private Cloud services are both currently available. Full commercial availability of TELUS Hybrid cloud will commence in Q1 2016.
