Bell Aliant Gives Atlantic Customers More This Fall With FibreOP

Earlier this fall, Halifax-based Bell Aliant, announced new enhancements for customers in Atlantic Canada that will provide access to an improved TV viewing experience, and faster Internet.

Bell Aliant is now offering more TV programming with 25 new On Demand channels and close to 1,000 more hours of quality content.

The launch of a new FibreOP TV feature called Restart, makes the company the only TV provider in Atlantic Canada to give customers the ability to watch TV shows already in progress from the beginning with Restart. For eligible programming, Restart allows customers to browse backwards in the guide for up to 30 hours and watch previously aired programs as if they were live TV.

This exciting new feature supports thousands of shows on over 100 channels including CBC, CTV, Global TV, HBO Canada, Super Channel, TSN and more.

Customers with both HD and PVR will receive Restart automatically, through a new FibreOP TV software upgrade. Upgrades are scheduled to be completed by the end of November.
