Bell launches new ‘Home Hub’ for Fibe customers

Bell announced today the launch of Home Hub, a new modem and WiFi router combination designed exclusively for Bell Fibe customers.

The company is promising WiFi speeds up to 3 times faster than most residential routers, as the device features the latest 802.11ac wireless standard.

“As we continue the rapid rollout of the world-leading Fibe network, most Bell Internet customers are now able to take advantage of Bell’s fast fibre network – ranked #1 in Canada in a recent international Internet speed index,” said Wade Oosterman, President of Bell Mobility and Bell Residential Services.  “The new Home Hub from Bell leverages Fibe’s power with the fastest residential Wi-Fi speeds available and an impressive array of tools to maximize your Bell Internet experience.”

The new Home Hub also allows users to securely manage and track usage by device, so parents can set boundaries around how much time kids spend online gaming, or limit Internet access during homework or bedtime.

Home Hub is now available for $199.95.
