Bell Aliant Expanding FibreOP Network to North Bay

Bell Aliant (TSX: BA) will reward the residents of North Bay, ON with its powerful FibreOP network.

The company plans to invest $13 million to offer its future-proof network to 20,000 North Bay premises.

With 100 percent fibre straight to the home, FibreOP is ideal for using multiple connected devices at the same time enabling everyone in the home to do what they want to do faster with Internet download speeds of up to 250 Mbps, and upload speeds as high as 30 Mbps.

FibreOP features more than 120 HD channels, the best Whole Home PVR, the most HD channels on demand as well as popular apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Galaxie Music.

Through its strategic partnership with Bell, new services will be marketed marketed as “Bell FibreOP.”
