SiriusXM to air all 35 U.S College Football bowl games

Satellite Radio broadcaster SiriusXM said this week it would be offering subscribers live play-by-play of all thirty-five bowl games during the 2011-12 college football postseason.

The schedule will begin with the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday, December 17 and continue through Monday January 9th when number one ranked LSU faces number two ranked Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game.

LSU was selected to participate in the championship game after a 13–0 regular season that culminated with a 42–10 win over the University of Georgia in the 2011 SEC Championship Game. Alabama was picked as the other half of the matchup following an 11–1 campaign, with their only loss coming against LSU during the regular season. Over the following weeks, a series of upsets resulted in the Crimson Tide receiving a No. 2 ranking in the final BCS Poll to qualify for the championship game.

This game will be the first time that the BCS National Championship Game has featured two teams from the same conference, let alone the same division, as well as the first time it features teams who have already met in the regular season.

Hugh, will all the bowl games be available on Sirius and/or XM Radio here in Canada? Or is this listing for the United States only?
