SlingPlayer app now available on Boxee Box

D-Link and D-Link have announced the addition of a Slingplayer application for Boxee Box which lets users “sling” content from the Slingbox to the media extender.

Similar to the Slingplayer software for your PC, the SlingPlayer app lets Boxee users control any digital cable box, satellite receiver, or DVR that is connected to their Slingbox Solo or PRO-HD.

Appearing in the Boxee app menu, SlingPlayer is accessible via the Boxee Box remote control and features Sling Media’s new program guide.
