BlackBerry Curve 9360 arrives at Wind Mobile and Mobilicity

Mobilicity and Wind Mobile have added the BlackBerry Curve 9360 to their respective smartphone line-ups.

Running on the new Blackberry 7 operating system, the Curve 9360 features the iconic BlackBerry keyboard, 2.44 inch 480×360 pixel HVGA+ color display, 800 MHz processor, integrated GPS, a 5.0 megapixel camera, voice activated universal search, GPS and Wi-Fi support, and various pre-installed social media apps.

The device also incorporates Near Field Communications (NFC), which enables users to pair accessories, read SmartPoster tags and connect to other NFC-enabled devices with a tap of their smartphone.

The new Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones (2.0) app introduces features like Facebook chat and BBM integration so users can connect with their Facebook friends in real time utilizing push notifications. Twitter for BlackBerry smartphones delivers real-time push notifications and Social Feeds integration.

BlackBerry 7 OS also includes several other pre-loaded applications, such as the Premium version of the mobile document editing suite Documents To Go, and BlackBerry Protect, which enables users to back-up and secure data in the cloud and locate their misplaced BlackBerry smartphone using GPS or by remotely turning up the ringer volume.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 is available now for $299.99 from Mobilicity. Wind Mobile will begin selling the device tomorrow for $350.
